For over two decades, Tricolor India Schauspiel has transformed India's historic monuments into immersive experiences through light, projection, and digital media. Conceived as an extension of this practice, the workspace is organized as two distinct yet interconnected spatial environments, establishing a clear hierarchy between contemplation and production.
The founder's workspace is defined by richly articulated timber paneling, bespoke joinery, and curated artefacts that create an intimate setting for reflection, while a heritage mural anchors the principal visual axis, reinforcing the studio's enduring engagement with architectural heritage. In contrast, the adjoining studio (for the team) adopts a more industrial material expression through exposed services, OSB cladding, and adaptable workspaces that support experimentation and making. Bound together by a coherent architectural framework, the project reflects the dialogue between heritage and contemporary technology that lies at the heart of the studio's practice.
